Why hello there and happy 2020! I feel like I’ve been gone for an eternity, but it was a really good idea for me to take some blogging time off. It felt like a nice, long vacation away from everything and now I feel re-energized! So let’s check out the essie flying solo collection now!
The essie flying solo collection features nine new nail shades. It’s not technically a spring collection but is inspired by travel wanderlust and shades of sunrises and sunsets. I am missing one of them called in plane view, which is a deep green teal creme.
Aside from some very slight patchiness due to my nails being kind of in bad shape (from temporary extensions I had on) I didn’t have any problems with the formula. All but one of these are just two coats.
free to roam is a light pastel pink creme.
check your baggage is a warm-toned bright yellow creme.
flying solo is a medium pink creme.
reach new heights is a shimmery golden peach.
one way for one is a medium pink with heavy golden shimmer.
check in to check out is a vivid coral creme.
you do blue is a bright periwinkle with pink shimmer. This is three thin coats.
without reservations is a deep shimmery plum.Isn’t this collection gorgeous? Technically it came out in November and it really evokes spring and even summer to me, so I am ALL over these shades because I am so done with winter already.
The shimmery ones, of course, are my favorites. In particular reach new heights, one way for one and you do blue are really stunning ones. I wish I could see in plane view because I think I would love that one also.
You can find the essie flying solo collection at Ulta and salons now.
Now I want to know, which of these are on your list?
