Happy Tuesday and welcome to the essie fall 2019 collection!
The essie fall 2019 collection features six new limited edition shades, though I just have five of them here. The one I don’t have (sweater weather – a shimmery green) is apparently sold out everywhere, wah! Even though I really wanted to swatch that one for you guys, the other five shades are also really good, so that’s good news!
I swatched all of these with just two coats (over a ridge-filling base coat) and I had no problems, even with the yellow one. 🙂
home grown is a light peach with gold shimmer.
hay there is a medium warm-toned butter yellow creme.
on the bright cider is a caramel/orange-y creme.
easily suede is a medium warm-toned taupe/grey creme.
rust-worthy is a burnt orange metallic.
I feel like this is a really nice fall collection and I like all the colors. hay there is a really good yellow and rather unique compared to my other yellow cremes. And just two coats is refreshing for a yellow! home grown is a really pretty shimmer, and is even better in person. on the bright cider is a great fall shade and rather unique. I think the least unique one is easily suede, but it’s a good taupe anyway. And last but definitely not least is rust-worthy, which is super intense and gorgeous. rust-worthy looks like it would fit right in with the gel couture sunrush metals collection from last summer!
You can find the limited edition essie fall 2019 collection at Ulta and on their site now. And again, I do believe sweater weather, the shimmery forest green, is sold out pretty much everywhere already. Boo!
Which of these shades is on your must-have list this fall?
