Hey there Internet friends. I hope your week has been good so far!
Today I’ve got the limited edition Deborah Lippmann The Wild Life Collection. This collection features four full-sized bottles of new shades. And because they have been out for a bit the set is on sale already! More on that at the end of this post.
These were all swatched with two coats (no base coat) and for the most part they were perfect. I should have used a ridge-filling base coat for a slightly better finish. I love her rounded, wider brushes so much more than the old style brushes.
Been Around The World is a medium taupe creme. I could have benefitted from using a ridge-filling base coat here.
Spill The Wine is deep burgundy creme. This is the other one where I should have used a base coat.
Rule Breaker is a royal purple with very fine holographic sparkles.
Fight The Power is a dark inky blue creme. It’s very pigmented and *almost* one coat does the trick! Nice little collection here, and very fall appropriate shades. I am particularly drawn to Fight The Power because it’s so dark, yet obviously not black (you can tell easier in person.) I also really like Rule Breaker and Been Around The World, but they are slightly more common shades.
The limited edition Deborah Lippmann The Wild Life Collection is available on her site and in select stores now. It’s $60.00 for all four (normally $80.00) or $20.00 each.
So what do you think about these four colors?
