Hello and happy Monday to ya! Today I’ve got the Urban Decay Game of Thrones Collection for your pleasure.
The Urban Decay Game of Thrones Collection includes a limited edition eyeshadow palette, highlighter palette, lip & cheek stain, eye liners, lipsticks and eyeshadow brushes.
Peep all the photos and swatches below!
Ok so the eyeshadow palette is kind of cool looking with the pop-up sword throne and the drawer of eyeshadows underneath, but honestly, it’s huge and bulky and I would MUCH prefer something sleek, light and easy to store/use. The colors are gorgeous though and the metallic shades especially are very creamy and pigmented.
The highlight palette is really nice and much more sleek! The three included shades are soft, pigmented and very shimmery.
The limited edition lipsticks include two metallic shades and two cream shades. I personally like the red ones best. The other two just aren’t my kind of shades and they are more sheer as well.
The two eyeshadow brushes are SO CUTE but also you can actually use them, so yay for that!
The lip & cheek stain gives a see-through flushed red color and is universal for all skin tones.
The eye liners are really good! Winterfell Snow is an iridescent light shade, so it’s not super pigmented or intense, but still nice. Lannister Gold is SUPER metallic and smooth, it’s my favorite one. The Knight King is an intense shimmery teal and Dragon Smoke is a deep blackened purple shimmer.
As a fan of the show (though I do think it’s time for it to be over now) I was really excited to see everything here. While I do like the eyeshadow palette, the size/shape of it bugs me. The highlighter palette is great as are the eye liners. The lipsticks were just ok to me. The colors aren’t as interesting as I hoped they would be.
You can find the Urban Decay Game of Thrones Collection starting April 14th on their site and at Sephora, Ulta and select Macy’s.
Are you going to pick anything up from this?
