What’s up friends? Today I have the OPI Peru Fall 2018 Collection for you!
Yep, we are already talking fall and it’s barely even summer, but that’s the way it works in the fashion/beauty world. The OPI Peru Fall 2018 Collection features twelve new creme shades, all obviously inspired by Peru. The color inspiration comes from the dusty sand dunes, vibrant fabric shades and dark oranges and reds of the painted buildings.
I didn’t have any problems with the formula of any of these. They are all cremes and while some are more sheer than others, two to three thin coats covers nicely.
Machu Peach-u is a soft sand/peach.
Somewhere Over the Rainbow Mountains is a dusty light rose.
Lima Tell You About This Color! is a cool-toned light pink.
Suzi Will Quechua Later! is a bubblegum pink with a lavender-ish lean.
Don’t Toot My Flute is a light lilac.
Seven Wonders of OPI is a dusty pink/mauve.
Grandma Kissed a Gaucho is a bright purple.
Alpaca My Bags is a murky greyish/green.
My Solar Clock is Ticking is a dusty brick/orange.
I Love You Just Be-Cusco is a vivid red.
Como se Llama? is a deep burgundy.
Yes My Condor Can-do! is a dark, vampy purple.
And there you have it. I know some people might think these shades aren’t all that exciting, but I really like how many of them lean towards a dusty and/or mauve tone. There are definitely some here that aren’t super unique though, and those are the two bubblegum pink ones and the red ones. My personal favorites are Don’t Toot My Flute, Seven Wonders of OPI, Grandma Kissed a Gaucho, Alpaca My Bags and Yes My Condor Can-do!
You can find the OPI Peru Fall 2018 Collection here now and they are $5.75 each.
Ok so I want to know, do you love this collection or feel they played it too safe?
