Happy Thursday friends, ready to hear about the new essie Soda Pop Shop Collection?
As the name implies, the essie Soda Pop Shop Collection is a 1950’s themed collection which features six new shades AND a new brush, WOOT! It’s not the same brush as the Gel Couture line (rats) BUT for me it’s way better than the older one. It features a wider shape with a more rounded edge which for me makes application and clean-up much easier. Love it.
The formula was pretty good with these. A few of the more sheer shades were three thin coats, but most of them were two coats.
Going Steady is a light ivory with green/gold shimmer. This is three coats.
Out Of The Jukebox is a light creamsicle with gold shimmer. This is three coats.
Babes In The Booth is a frosty pink with shimmer. This is two coats.
Pin Me Pink is a bubblegum pink creme. This is two coats.
Cherry On Top is a bright candy apple red creme. This is two coats.
Drive-In & Dine is a medium mauve purple creme. This is two coats.
And that is essie Soda Pop Shop! Cute collection, especially if you are into pinks/reds. I actually liked Going Steady more than I expected, even though it started off sheer. I feel like it’s pretty unique. My other two favorites here are Pin Me Pink and Cherry On Top.
You can find the essie Soda Pop Shop Collection on their site very soon and they are $9.00 each.
