Let’s discuss Cafe con Dulce first. WOW. When I first saw the palette I was hoping the shades would be as soft and pigmented as they looked, and they really were. They almost feel like cremes, they are so smooth. They are all metallic/shimmery, but not with any glittery particles. They blend really nicely and are super flattering shades for either cool or warm skin tones. I love that there are some you can use as blushes also.
Dulce’s Lip Candy Palette is actually better than I had expected. In general I am not a fan of lip palettes as they seem to often contain boring shades, or lots of colors I would never use, and they dry out more quickly. These turned out to be more pigmented than I thought and overall there are a lot of really good colors. The fact that you can also use these as blushes is great as well. I’m still not a fan of lip palettes, but if you are, this is a pretty versatile one with some really pretty colors.
The Pixi Dulce Candy Collection is available now online and in stores and they are each $24.00.
Do either of these palletes tempt your wallet?
