Hello and a happy Wednesday to you!
Today I’ve got the limited edition essie summer 2018 collection for you. This collection features six new shades in various finishes. Some of the shades might not look like traditional summer colors, but who really cares about that? Not I!
The formula was really quite good with all of these colors. All were just two coats and no real major problems to speak of. Let’s dig in!
all daisy long is a white with green and pink iridescent shimmer. This is a little bit frosty but not a bad frost. It’s also a tiny bit brush-stroke-y, but not too bad.
young, wild & me is a muted rose pink creme.
empower-mint is a turquoise/mint creme.
summer daze is an amber with lots of shimmery gold sparkle. Very unique shade!
the fuchsia is bright is a bright pink creme.
making harmony is a dark mauve creme.
Overall I think this is a really nice collection! all daisy long, summer daze and making harmony are fairly unique shades, and the rest are good colors, if not dupe-able. In particular I love making harmony, it’s just the most perfect deep creamy mauve color and not very summery either.
You can find the essie summer 2018 collection at Ulta and where ever essie is sold.
Are there any shades in this collection you are loving especially?
