It’s November 1st, can you believe it? What happened to this year? And the last one? And the last one? UGH, time flies.
Anyway, today I’ve got something I had never tried before and it’s the Lottie London Stamp Liner. I picked 3 of them up from the Ulta website a couple weeks ago because I saw them and was highly intrigued. There are actually 4 of them (the one I didn’t get is a musical note shape) and each one comes with a regular felt-tip liner and a stamp with a shape on the other end. I picked up the heart, moon and star ones.
Here they are swatched on my hand over primer. Now there are a couple things to note.
One thing to note is that they didn’t bleed at all on my actual face. I had used MAC wipes before this photo, so I think the leftover stuff from that made them bleed a bit. I wore the moon and star together under one eye over primer and the heart under my other eye, right on my skin with no primer. The star and moon definitely lasted longer and seemed to imprint a slightly blacker shape than without primer, so I definitely suggest primer.
The other thing to note is that if you press too hard you may end up with the outer round imprint of the stamp on your skin. I did that at first a few times, then I realized I had to press firmly, but not completely down, otherwise the larger part of the stamp comes off too. So it’s a little bit of a learning curve, but not much.
They lasted a good 8 hours at least without fading or bleeding (over primer) so I definitely liked them for the price. And honestly, I didn’t even use the regular liner part and probably won’t. I would have bought these just for the shape!
You can find the Lottie London Stamp Liner on the Ulta site now and they are $7.49 each.
Would you wear a little shape on your face?

These are pretty cool! Love that it also comes with a felt tip liner. Wish we had this brand in Canada.

Need!! I’ve seen a more expensive version that I was hesitant to try… But with your stamp (omg, did I just make a pun… -.- ) of approval, I’ll be picking up these guys!! ^_^
hmmm you could probably find some tiny rubber stamps and use liner to paint the surface of the stamp, a lot more shapes to choose from!
