It’s Monday and it’s weird here in the Bay Area. The Santa Rosa/Napa Valley area is currently in the middle of some huge wild fires and we can smell the smoke down here. I know many people who live in that area and it’s scary! Hoping everyone stays safe. In the meanwhile I have the Cirque Colors Metropolis FW2017 Collection for you.
The Cirque Colors Metropolis FW2017 Collection features six new creme shades, all inspired by autumn and New York City. Though I have never been to NYC (blasphemy!) these colors definitely have a strong fall vibe to them, which I love.
The formula was really amazing with all of them, they were just two coats each and no real problems were to be had.
Madison is a light beige/tan with peach undertones. This probably would work better for me with 3 coats or with a ridge-filling base coat.
Sartorial is a pale lilac.
Urbanized is a mustard yellow.
Spotted In Soho is a rose/coral.
Coffee Talk is a warm-toned mocha.
Red Hook is a deep brick red.
Definitely very fall-like, yes? Of course the shade that stands out immediately to me is Urbanized. I mean, you KNOW I love a “weird” or “ugly” nail shade, and this one is gorgeously unique as well. I find myself also drawn to Spotted In Soho, which is interesting considering I don’t normally love a rose pink on myself. Coffee Talk is another one I really love and it makes me want a chocolate bar! All are really nice shades though and they and have a great creamy, pigmented formula.
You can find the Cirque Colors Metropolis FW2017 Collection on their site now and they are $12.50 each.
Which ones here are you loving?
