Hello and a happy Monday afternoon/evening!
Today I have the new Zoya Sophisticates Fall 2017 Collection for you. This collection features twelve new shades in neutrals, mauve/wine shades and smoky shimmers and cremes.
The formula was really quite good with these. Ten of them were just two coats and the other two were three thin coats. I didn’t have any application problems to speak of. Everything does look very fall-esque (which I am not ready for at ALL) so you who have been waiting for deeper shades might find some new faves!

McKenna
McKenna is a light almond with a pearly finish. This is two coats.

Presely
Presley is a light mauve/taupe creme. This is two coats.

Beth
Beth is a light sandy rose-gold metallic. This is two coats.

Hera
Hera is a muted red/mauve creme. This is two coats.

Joni
Joni is a dusty plum creme. This is three thin coats.

Padma
Padma is a deep vermillion red creme. This is two coats.

Gal
Gal is a smoky peridot/gold metallic. This is three coats.

Tabitha
Tabitha is a deep hunter green with pearly shimmer. This is two coats.

Yvonne
Yvonne is a deep bordeaux/red creme. This is two coats.

Mona
Mona is a dark burgundy/plum creme. This is two coats.

Elaine
Elaine is a dark umber brown creme. This is two coats.

Hadley
Hadley is a super dark midnight blue creme. This is two coats.
There you have it! Ok now here are my thoughts on this collection. As a whole I find it a bit…uninspiring. I think part of it is because I am not really a fan of plum/red/wine shades in these tones/finishes, so they don’t interest me, and they are half of the collection. I’m not a gigantic fan of the pearl finish personally either, but Tabitha is a really nice hunter green. I do also really like Elaine and Hadley, which are suuuuuper dark, but not black. The most unique one here might be Beth, which is a really unusual taupe/rose gold shifty kind of shade.
You can find the Zoya Sophisticates Fall 2017 Collection on their site now and they are $10.00 each.
Which ones in this collection are you most drawn to?

I’m not really drawn to these shades at all…
Thanks for posting these — I’m always interested to see what Zoya is doing. Unfortunately, I’ll probably only get Beth.
Some of these look really similar to existing shades. i *love* zoya and I get better wear out of their polishes than most others, but when they have the super sales I rarely go for the newest collection. I “like” most of these shades but I don’t think they’re different enough from what I already have. Maybe Tabitha. I AM ready for summer polish colors to be over though. I kind of hate pastel and light colors.
Zoya loves to reinvent the wheel, so a lot of their polishes are uninspired and just a rehash of the same boring old shade they’ve released before. I only buy Zoyas once every couple of years when their Earth Day sale comes around, because every year they’ll release maybe 2-3 interesting polishes and a ton of duds.
I have been waiting and waiting for Zoya to come out with a “Beth” polish! And I’m so glad it’s a somewhat unique shade 🙂 Now, when I can afford to buy polish again, this is first on my list
I like the bottom half of the collection. Tose are all colors I can see myself wearing and I love Zoya polish!
Those not tose!
I find myself drawn to Gal and Tabitha, if only because I am a fan of greens.

I agree with Rachel. My Zoya bag is filled with older shades. I seldom go for the new collections.
I like most of the shades but I think Beth is the most unique out of the collection.
I always love Zoya greens!
Hello: Love your web blog. Also, I love Zoya polishes they are 10 free of toxins. My favorites are Joni, (which I already ordered and have) Mona love the burgundy plums., Elaine which I am drawn to the dark color and Hadley just love this color. Please don’t go and stop your web blog. I am sure you have helped thousands of women (and men) with their choices for nail colors.
I mean don’t stop your web blog!
Tabitha looks very pretty, esp because I don’t have a color like it.
Hello. Does Zoya Beth have a dupe from other brands?
