Hello! Hope you are having a great week so far.
On this Wednesday morn’ I have some of the new-ish Makeup Geek Showstopper Creme Stain shades for you. Showstopper Creme Stain comes in eighteen shades from light ones to deep and vampy ones. These are limited edition and feature a really thin, lightweight, build-able formula. They apply wet and dry to a matte finish really quickly.
They have a soft, slanted-tip sponge applicator.
Quickstep is a light, cool-toned beige.
Arabesque is a pale, cool-toned lavender.
Foxtrot is a warm-toned pink/nude.
Moonwalk is a light pink/lavender.
Jitterbug is a light, bright coral.
Bunny Hop is a bright medium pink.
These are sort of strange to me. They are definitely lightweight, actually they feel like nothing, which is kind of good. But they are very thin so I needed to dip into the tube a few times (3-4) to cover my lips. However, they are build-able, so they are mostly even after a few swipes. The peach/coral ones are a little patchier than the others. They dry super quickly and feel fairly comfy on the lips, though I prefer adding a light lip balm over or under them since my lips are on the dry side. I do really like all of these colors, but I am not 100% sold on the formula. I want more pigmentation with less effort, and a little more hydration.
You can find the Makeup Geek Showstopper Creme Stain shades on their site now. They are limited edition and $12.00 each.
