Cayenne is a deep red/brown matte.
En Fuego is a deep purple/red/brown matte.
Ashes is a very dark brown matte with hints of red.
Ember is an intense chocolate brown/red/copper metallic.
Fuel is a medium brown/pink cream.
Scorched is a medium bronze metallic.
Heat is a medium red metallic.
Torch is a warm medium clay brown matte.
Alkaline is a dark red/purple/brown matte.
And there you have the Urban Decay Naked Heat Collection! Let’s talk about the palette first. I gotta say I love the design and packaging of these. They are so sleek and nice looking and not huge and awkward, which I really appreciate. Now as far as the shades inside, they are really pretty if you are into super warm tones. The mattes swatched very nicely and were not patchy or chalky at all. The shimmers and metallic were like butter and SO pigmented. I especially love Lumbre, Dirty Talk, Scorched and Ember. The Vice Lipstick shades are also on the warm side but Fuel seems a little more neutral. As far as the Eye Pencils, Torch is definitely much warmer than Alkaline, which is more neutral to my eye.
Having said that is this my favorite Naked Palette so far? No. In fact it’s my least favorite but not because there is anything bad about it, it’s only because I feel most of these are too warm toned for me, especially when I have super beige/cold toned hair! Same goes for the lipsticks for me, except for maybe Fuse. But again if warmth and bronzed looks are your style, then you will probably love this collection!
Well what do you think? Which of the Naked Palettes has been your favorite so far?
