Today I have a new (to me anyway) brand at Sephora called Pretty Vulgar Makeup. Pretty Vulgar Makeup has a variety of items including blushes, lipsticks, eye shadow palettes, highlighters, bronzers, eye liners, brushes, eyebrow pencils, mascara and nail polishes, which they call Nail Liquor because of the liquor-like-looking packaging, which by the way, is the first thing I noticed about the brand – SUCH cute packaging!
Glimmers Of BS is a shimmery pink champagne.
Mirror Mirror is a shimmery pink with golden sheen.
Baby Doll is a medium baby pink matte.
Grey Jay is a light taupe/grey creme. This is three thin coats as it is on the sheer side.
Frisky Whiskey is a bright grape purple creme. This was very opaque and covered in two thin coats.
Aside from the obviously super cute packaging, I really liked everything I tried out. The Shimmering Swan Highlighter is really pigmented and feels very soft. A little goes a long way. The Make Them Blush Powder Blush was also incredibly pigmented and a beautiful shade of pink. Baby Doll Lipstick is a really flattering pinky/nude shade and while it’s matte, it isn’t super dry on my lips. It goes on really creamy and smooth. And the Nail Liquors are SO cute! I loooove the bottles, even if the wands themselves are a little long because of the long bottle shape. Grey Jay was a little sheer for my tastes, but it does build up. Frisky Whiskey though is a gorgeous vivid purple and had a great formula.
You can find Pretty Vulgar Makeup at Sephora now!
