Hi there! We are having a slight break from the excessive heat today (well, if you consider 94 degrees a break) but tomorrow it’s supposed to hit 98-100 at my house again. UGH! Hope you are staying cool and calm where-ever you are.
The limited edition Clarins Sunkissed Summer Make-Up Collection recently came out and I have some pieces from it to show you today. The packaging is really pretty and it definitely says “summer.”
Honey Glam Comfort Lip Oil is a light gold with gold shimmer.
Tangerine Glam Comfort Lip Oil is a light orange.
Copper Waterproof Eye pencil is a bold copper metallic with gold shimmery bits.
The first shade is a light white with satin-y sheen.
The second shade is a very pale glittery gold/beige. This one didn’t have much pigmentation at all.
The third shade is a vivid tangerine with satin-y sheen.
The fourth shade is a medium bronze with satin-y sheen.
The bronzer has three slightly different bronzing shades that go from lighter to deeper. The blush is a medium tangerine with satin-y sheen.
I feel like some things were definitely better than others here. The bronzer is pretty nice and decently pigmented, but the blush part is so small it would be hard to get to it with a brush. The eye liner is really creamy and very pigmented so it’s a two thumbs up from me for that. The eye shadow palette was half not good half ok, which makes it a miss for me. The first two shades were just not very pigmented at all. The lip oils are interesting and I kind of dig them. I prefer Tangerine over Honey Glam. They feel just barely sticky on the lips, but offer a really nice shine and a hint of color. I LOVE the fruity scent and taste they have, but some of you may not like that.
Is there anything you see here that you will be checking out?
