Today I’ve got the brand spankin’ new KBShimmer All The Bright Moves collection. This collection features six new neon cremes, reminiscent of the late 80’s/early 90’s things like Lisa Frank stickers, Trapper Keepers (LOVE those!), rubber bracelets (mine were all black), fanny packs, and Caboodles (also loved those)! Ahhhhh those were some good years. Can I go back please?
So as mentioned, these are neons and NO, you do not need a white base coat underneath for them to be very bright. For the record, I never, ever use a white base coat under my swatches or even for a manicure. I ain’t got no time or patience for that! These were mostly two coats, with one exception, and none gave me any problems at all. All of these were swatched over a sticky base coat.
All The Bright Moves is a electric yellow neon. This was the only one which required three thin coats.
Race Against Slime is a vivid neon green. This shade glows under a black light.
Please Don’t Glow Girl is an intense neon orange. My camera went nuts with this one and it glows under a black light also.
Color Me Rad is a watermelon pink neon which also glows under a black light.
Let’s Be Frank is a bright violet purple. It’s super bright but not quite neon. Purples don’t seem to be able to get as neon as yellow/green/pink and orange!
Double Pog Dare You is a bright sky blue. Not quite a neon, but very saturated and intense.
I love this collection! I am definitely feeling the 80’s/90’s vibe with these shades and am really in love with the formula. They covered (most of them) in just two perfect creamy non-streaky coats. The yellow, green, orange and pink ones are the most actual “neon” shades, but the others are really intense also.
You can find the KBShimmer All The Bright Moves collection on their site now and they are $9.25 each.
Is there anything here that you will be picking up?
