Today I have the new KBShimmer Nauti By Nature Collection for you! This collection features twelve new shades in holographic, shimmery, crelly or glittery formulas. As the name implies, this collection has a nautical, tropical vacation vibe. Think of shades reminiscent of the pastel houses in the Bahamas, to the fronds on palm trees, to the brightly colored ropes on fisherman boats. There is also a new “Mani Shot” scent ($1.95) which is called Knotty Girl and smells like a tropical fruity drink filled with raspberry, melon, lemon, banana and coconut.
Saved By The Shell is a light sandy peach with pink/copper shimmer. This is three thin coats and needs a top coat to be shiny.
Copa-Banana is a yellow-gold holographic. This is two coats.
Got It Sandaled is a dusty lavender with pink/violet shimmer. This is two coats and needs a top coat to be shiny.
That Girl Is Tiki is an orange-y/pink holographic. This is two coats.
Macaw Me Maybe is a bright red holographic. This is two coats.
Keep Palm And Carry On is a lush green holographic. This is two coats.
Lattitude Adjustment is a periwinkle holographic. This is two coats.
Tropic Like It’s Hot is a rich turquoise holographic. This is two coats.
Salt Water Sassy is a minty/pale blue crelly with pastel glitter pieces in various sizes, colors and shapes. This is three thin coats.
Starfishing For Compliments is a pale taupe crelly with white, black, coral and aqua glitter pieces in various sizes and shapes. This is three thin coats.
Tempting Fete is a creamy white crelly with gold, purple, pink green and orange glitter in various sizes and shapes. This is three thin coats.
Show Me The Mahi is a deep aqua blue with lime and teal holo glitter and shifting iridescent glitter. This is three thin coats.
Overall I definitely get the vibe they were trying to capture and there are some really great shades here. All of the holographic ones had an excellent formula and covered perfectly with just two coats. The shimmers were slightly thicker but I managed to use them rather easily with no problems. They tend to dry matte so a top coat really brings out their shimmer. The crellies were slightly harder to work with only because they have chunkier glitter in them. Thankfully I didn’t have to “glob” them on and hand-place the glitter though. They did flow nicely from the brush evenly across my nails, though the base color was a little uneven still. I really love the colors Salt Water Sassy and Tempting Fete though, and I don’t usually like chunky glitters!
You can find the KBShimmer Nauti By Nature Collection on their site now and they are $9.25 each. You can also buy all 6 of the holographic shades (plus a free top coat) for $55.00 or the other 6 shimmer/glitter/crelly shades (plus a free top coat) for $55.00.
