Hi there! I hope you had a nice long weekend, if you had yesterday off.
Today I’ve got the essie Gel Couture Ballet Nudes 2017 collection for you. This collection, obviously inspired by light, soft ballet-like colors, consists of 6 new shades. Four of them are cremes and two are shimmers.
These shades all swatched pretty nicely with just two coats. As usual there was some slight unevenness on my ring and pinky fingers (my ridged nails) but otherwise no issues at all with any of them.
Satin Slipper is a pale champagne/beige with silvery shimmer.
Lace Me Up is a light pink creme.
At The Barre is a light milk chocolate creme.
Hold the Position is a coral/pink creme.
Perfect Posture is a light periwinkle/lavender creme.
Closing Night is a light grey with blue shimmer.
And there you have it. I don’t usually find myself wearing pale shades like most of these, but they are nice if you like those kinds of colors. The ones I am most drawn to here are Perfect Posture and Closing Night, which is THE stand-out shade of the collection.
You can find the essie Gel Couture Ballet Nudes 2017 collection on their site and in stores now and they are $11.50 each.
Is there anything in this collection you want to check out in person?
