Hello!
Today I’ve got the MakeupGeek Highlighter Bundle Porcelain, which consists of three amazing highlighters – Two of which are duochromes, and it (or some of them) could be nice substitutes for the Kat Von D Alchemist Holographic Palette if you didn’t want or need all the ones in that palette. These come in a really nice shiny gunmetal compact, reminiscent of some of the newer Urban Decay items. They have a cool pattern embossed into them, a nice sized mirror and a really nice soft finish. I have a love/hate with highly shiny compacts like this. They look awesome but immediately get so fingerprint-y!

Moon Phase

Celestial

Glitz

Moon Phase, Celestial, Glitz
Moon Phase is an icy blue and purple duochrome reflects and a luminous finish.
Celestial is an icy violet duochrome reflects and a luminous finish.
Glitz is an icy pink with a reflective luminous finish.
These are so super soft and velvety to the touch and are very nicely pigmented. I swatched them above with no primer underneath and just one swipe! You can build them up a bit also if you wish. Glitz isn’t technically a duochrome like the other two are, but it’s still a really beautiful icy color. I’m not sure if you can also safely use these as shadows, but I would be tempted to! They do have four other duochrome highlighter colors as well, (Electrify (yellow), Lit (peachy/pink), Psychedelic (pinky/peach) and Ablaze (copper/gold)) which come in different bundles or sold separately.
You can find the MakeupGeek Highlighter Bundle Porcelain on their website and it’s $48.00 for the bundle of all three or $20.00 for each one (Moon Phase seems to be sold out at the moment).
Are you interested in any of these highlighters? What do you think of these compared to the KVD Alchemist Palette?

Those are absolutely gorgeous! I don’t have the KVD so I can’t speak to how they compare. I’m not huge on highlighters, but if they could be used as shadows I’d be very tempted to use any one of them as a eye shadow accent.
Totally understand, I rarely actually use highlighters! So lazy.
Even with the price point, I’d be more keen to buy these over the Kat Von D palette for the simple reason that I don’t like her, lol. But I also have the ABH Moonchild palette, which I feel like fulfills my white girl opalescent highlighter needs lol.
I definitely understand that!
Those are lovely, but perhaps a bit too light for me. I also like the shiny compact but can relate to being annoyed by the inevitable fingerprints. lol
