The butter LONDON + Pantone Color Of The Year 2017 collection arrived at VVHQ just after Pantone announced that 15-0343 Greenery was the color of 2017. Finally, a color I actually love was named color of the year! Greenery is a vivid yellow/green which looks fresh and crisp, and very evocative of spring, which I am dying for. It’s a clean and fun bright green, and one of my favorite colors to wear on my nails.
This collection includes six new nail lacquers (in 0.2 oz bottles – so not full-sized) and six matching Plush Rush Lip Glosses. Three of the glosses include a somewhat hidden green shimmer, which definitely makes them more interesting to me than the plain creme ones.
Buttercream is an off-white creme. This is two coats.
Greenery is a yellow green creme. This is two coats.
Rich Gold is a warm beige with green and gold shimmer. This is three coats.
Bodacious is a light lilac creme. This is two coats.
Calypso Coral is a bright coral pink creme. This is two coats.
Caramel Cafe is a warm-toned brown creme. This is two coats.
Buttercream is a pale off-white with hidden green shimmer.
Sparkling Green is a pearly white with green shimmer.
Rich Gold is a beige with green and gold shimmer.
Calypso Coral is a coral pink creme.
Bodacious is a lilac creme.
Caramel Cafe is a warm caramel brown creme.
The nail lacquers had a nice formula overall and most covered in just two coats. I didn’t have any issues with any of them and think they are all nice shades, even if not all are that unique. My personal favorites are Greenery and Rich Gold, which I think are the most unique ones. The Plush Rush Lip Gloss colors are nice, but all are sheer colors, so you don’t get a ton of pigmentation. I do like the ones with the green shimmer in them the most, and think they would look cool over some lipsticks.
