Today I’ve got seven of the 27 new Sephora Cream Lip Stains, which just came out a few days ago. Now there are 41 shades in this line and this is my first-ever experience with them.
Cream Lip Stains are a high-coverage, long-lasting lip stain which goes on smooth and creamy and dries to a lightweight matte stain. They aren’t like the typical liquid mattes which are out there – these are more comfortable to wear and do not suck every ounce of moisture from my lips. They are infused with avocado oil to help with hydration, and have a soft, doe-foot applicator. They are non-sticky, very pigmented and have no taste or scent. All of the shades I bought are on the cool-toned or neutral side.
Pink Peony is a dusty pink/beige.
Chai Latte is a light/medium taupe.
Wisteria Purple is a light lavender purple.
Pink Frosting is a deep rose pink.
Bohemian Purple is a deep lavender/mauve.
Frozen Strawberry is a deep rose pink/brown with very slight shimmer.
Purple Sunset is a dark muted purple/brown.
I am in love with these! Not only are they comfortable to wear (and you can even wear them with a thin lip balm underneath) but they are so smooth and effortless to apply. They are very pigmented and I love all these dusty, muted colors. I also love that they do not settle into lip lines, which a lot of the more matte formulas can. My favorites of these are Chai Latte, Wisteria Purple, Bohemian Purple and Pink Frosting, but I really do like them all on me.
You can find the Sephora Cream Lip Stains on their site and they are $14.00 each.
Are you going to check any of these shades out in person?
