Hello and happy Monday to you!
MAC Studio Quiktrik Stick is a new, permanent, double-ended, multi-use product which I have for you today.
Studio Quiktrik Stick (kind of a tongue-twister!) comes in six shades. You can use them for contouring, highlighting, bronzing or as a blush or pop of color. They come in a dual-ended fatty stick, which twists up, and have a creamy easy-to-blend formula. You can use them with a brush (the duo-fibre 130 is a good choice) if you want, or fingers, which is my preferred method.
Bare End is a light champagne shimmer.
Earthnut is a medium brown creme.
Softly Does It is a pale shimmery pink.
Tight And Tawny is a light brown creme.
Counterpoint is a cool-toned medium pink creme.
Ginger Spiked is a light golden peach shimmer.
Tomato is a bright orange creme.
Miss Cupake is a medium shimmery pink/peach.
Since personally I am not into contouring or bronzing, the ones that really speak to me are Counterpoint/Ginger Spiked and Tomato/Miss Cupcake. Both would be great as a blush/highlight combo./ They are nicely pigmented and really pretty shades. I like the two-in-one stick idea, especially for traveling or popping in your purse. Usually for me cremes don’t last as long as powders, so the fact that these are really portable is good because they wear down after 5-6 hours for me. As far as the other two Softly Does It/Tight And Tawny is definitely a good choice for very fair skinned folks since it’s the lighter one of the two.
You can find these on the MAC site now and they are $32.00 each.
