It’s Monday again, le sigh. I hope you had a fantastic weekend!
MAC Spellbinder Shadow is a new collection featuring eight new eyeshadow shades that are pretty different than their normal shadows.
Spellbinder Shadow contains ionized pigments which are magnetically charged and that fuses together loose pigments which makes it super velvety to the touch and very pigmented. They are all blackened shades, so think vampy and smoky. They come in little black pots and I cannot even explain to you how magical they are when touching them. They are SO soft and squishy and velvety. I could literally squish them all day long. ?
Mysterious Influence is an olive/gold green.
Dynamically Charged is a cool-toned taupe bronze.
Higher Power is a deep brown/plum.
Gravity’s Pull is a dark royal purple.
Cosmic Clash is a deep muted emerald green.
Aphrodisiatic is a cobalt blue.
I actually swatched these on bare skin with no primer to see just how pigmented they were, and they really are very pigmented and smooth. My next question about them was how fall-out prone were they going to be? So I wore Mysterious Influence on my eyes (over a primer this time) for the day and was very surprised and how little fall-out there was. I patted it on with my finger, though you can also use their 283 Duo Fibre Small Shadow Brush, and only a fleck or two fell onto my face all day. They vibrancy lasted maybe 8-9 hours before it faded a bit. These are super fun to touch and I really like the look of them, so these are pretty good in my book.
You can find MAC Spellbinder Shadow on the MAC site now and they are $22.00 each for 0.02 oz.
Are you going to try these out?
