Hi and happy Tuesday!
The Buxom Stone Cold Babe Holiday 2016 set is one of the new offerings for the holiday season and it’s so cute!
Stone Cold Babe features a limited edition 12-shade Buxom Eyeshadow Bar Palette in Fire & Frost and a mini Buxom Lash Mascara in Blackest Black. The palette itself is silver and white and has a raised mirrored design on the front and opens to a large mirror and double-ended mini eyeshadow brush. The eyeshadows come in a little tray which you slide into the palette. The cool thing is that the shades slide in and out so you could use different ones if you wanted. Four of the eyeshadow colors are brand new to this palette as well.

Diamond Darling, Champagne Buzz, Trendsetter, Sequin Sparkle, Frosted Pewter, LBD (over primer)
Diamond Darling is a shimmery metallic pale pink/white.
Champagne Buzz is a light shimmery metallic rose gold.
Trendsetter is a light taupe matte.
Sequin Sparkle is a light sparkly taupe.
Frosted Pewter (new shade) is a light/medium sparkly grey/taupe.
LBD is a black matte.

Velvet Snow, Mink Magnet, Haute Couture, Jetsetter, Graphite Glam, Black Tie (over primer)
Velvet Snow (new shade) is a shimmery white.
Mink Magnet is a medium bronze shimmery metallic.
Haute Couture is a deep shimmery chocolate brown metallic.
Jetsetter is a medium taupe mushroom matte.
Graphite Glam (new shade) is a sparkly deep grey.
Black Tie (new shade) is a black with silver sparkles.
Let’s start off with what I like. I think the palette itself (design-wise) is very pretty and I love that it’s refillable and easy to use to replace and refill with other shades if you wish. The mascara is nice. It feels like the same good quality as their full-sized mascara. The eyeshadow shades are mostly cool-toned but there are some neutral colors here as well. A decent mix of mattes and shimmers and sparkles. They are pigmented but not incredibly pigmented. The shimmery metallic ones seemed to have the most pigmentation and swatch the most evenly. Most of the mattes were even as well, except for the black one. The ones with the sparkles in them were on the lighter side and not super pigmented.
Stone Cold Babe is available at Sephora and Amazon and it’s $42.00 (a $95.00 value).
Is this a set yourself or someone you know might like for the holidays?

This is so pretty. I love sequin sparkle. Totally my kinds of colors. I might have to pick this up. Thanks for the great review and swatches!
Some buxom shadows are really good and some others are not that great. i think that the concept of their palettes is really cool and for this holiday season i might gift a buxom palette for a friend of mine. i will choose a lot of shimmery shades because they are the best !

Kelly,
Hi! I can honestly say that I like the colors in their set. I haven’t tried Buxom before, but now I just might!
I wish it had better pigmentation as I liked the colors.
The colors look really nice, it sucks that the colors aren’t as pigmented as it should be.
