Hello and happy Friday! The much anticipated (at least for me) OPI Breakfast at Tiffany’s has arrived! I happened to recently be at a Cosmoprof with a friend and saw them there, so I bought the ones that appealed to me the most. And the fact that they were only $5.00 each made them even more appealing.
OPI Breakfast at Tiffany’s is their winter/holiday collection and it features (I think) 16 total shades. Some shades come in the regular formula and some come in their Infinite Shine formula. They also have a bunch of various mini collections at Amazon and Ulta, each featuring various shades from within the collection.
Confession: I have never seen Breakfast at Tiffany’s all the way through. I attempted to watch it not that long ago and couldn’t even get an hour into it, I was SO bored! But it IS my favorite color! 🙂
I Believe in Manicures is a light sky blue creme. And no, you won’t see an actual “Tiffany blue” shade in this collection as the blue color is actually trademarked by the company and no one else can use it. This was two coats.
Champagne for Breakfast (over I Believe in Manicures) is a silvery holo glitter. This is one coat.
Meet My “Decorator” is a vivid tomato red creme. This is two coats.
Sunrise…Bedtime! (over Meet My “Decorator”) is a pink and holo glitter. This is two coats.
Fire Escape Rendezvous is a bright red shimmer with irregular shaped red glitter. This is two coats.
Rich Brazilian is a deep eggplant purple with purple and red shimmer. This is two coats.
Black Dress Not Optional is a black with silvery shimmer. This is two coats.
There are some really nice shades here, I am pleased to say. In fact I really like the ones I picked out for the most part. Even though I Believe in Manicures isn’t a real Tiffany blue shade, it’s a gorgeous blue and Champagne for Breakfast over it is a perfect match. I also really love Rich Brazilian because it’s so sparkly and jewel-toned. Meet My “Decorator” is yet another red creme, but at least it’s a really pretty tomato shade. I don’t really love Sunrise…Bedtime! all that much, I think Champagne for Breakfast is a better holo/glitter. Fire Escape Rendezvous is a great red but you have to be a bit careful because the larger chunks of glitter can settle into the polish and look a bit…chunky, which isn’t great. Black Dress Not Optional is a great shimmery black, but maybe not that unique.
You can find the OPI Breakfast at Tiffany’s collection now at Amazon, Ulta, Sally’s, Cosmoprof, Pure Beauty and Regis and they are around $5.00-$10.00 each.
Which of these are you excited about?
