Nails inc Sweet Almonds Powered by Matcha is a new-ish line that I had been wondering about, so I picked a couple up from Sephora recently.
This line is limited edition and sold online only. There are currently four shades available. Now what makes this line different is that the polish has a “superfood boost” with sweet almond oil and Matcha powder. The sweet almond oil helps with hydrating the nail bed and the Matcha powder helps protect with antioxidants. Supposedly. Yes it definitely seems a bit gimmicky, but hell, if I like the colors and it could possibly add moisture to my seriously dry nails, then why not?
And in case you didn’t know this, the silver caps pop off the bottles to reveal a round cap for easier application. For some reason the weighty glass of these new bottles really makes me happy. 🙂
Cornwall Gardens is a cool grey/almost lavender-esque creme. This is two coats.
Gloucester Gardens is a cool stone blue/grey creme. This is two coats.
Both colors are really nice and creamy, and they covered really well with just two coats. They have really nice pigmentation and are both pretty shades. The other two colors in the line are a metallic rose gold called Mayfair Market and a peachy nude creme called King William Walk.
As I said I don’t really know if all the ingredients really help, but I like the colors and formula and have no regrets about purchasing them!
You can find Nails inc Sweet Almonds Powered by Matcha at Sephora for a limited time and they are $14.00 each.
What do you think about these shades and or concept?
