Howdy! The LVX Fall Winter 2016 Collection features six new shades all inspired by the fall 2016 NYC runway fashion shows. The collection features five cremes and one shimmer.
Everything applied really nicely with just two coats, except for one which needed three. And in case you didn’t already know this, the square caps do pop off to reveal a round cap, which makes applying these easier. 🙂
Vanille is a vanilla creme. This was three coats.
Santal is a taupe/mauve with silvery shimmer. This was two coats.
Ashe is a medium charcoal grey creme. This was two coats.
Brique is a brick red creme. This was two coats.
Oasis is a medium hunter green creme. This was two coats.
Mink is a very dark espresso brown creme. This was two coats.
For me this collection wasn’t quite as interesting as some of their past collections have been. I don’t think anything here is all that unique except for maybe Santal. Having said that these are all nice shades and the formula is quite good with them. If you didn’t already have a great grey I do think Ashe is really nice. Also Oasis is a great hunter green creme. Even though Mink looks basically black here, it is more of a brown in person. Vanille I liked also, but the formula was a little uneven and I did need three coats.
You can find this collection on their site and they are $18.00 each.
Are any of these going on your must-have list for fall?
