The Formula X #ColorCurators September 2016 edition, Atlantic-Pacific, features three new shades from lifestyle blogger Blair Eadie.
This limited edition trio features creme colors inspired by the moody changing of the seasons. To me they seem like wintery shades, all being greys/greens and very cool-toned, but no matter, as they are all very pretty! Each one had a really good formula, as Formula X shades usually do, and they were just two coats.
Pacific Haze is a pale grey. This is what I would call a light “cement” grey color.
Atlantic Mist is a pale sage green. This definitely has a lot of blue in it, so it’s more of a sage green/pale blue color. Lovely!
Taken By Storm is a dark charcoal grey. For some reason my eye sees more of a super dark, muted purple than charcoal grey, but either way I like it a lot. It doesn’t look as dark and harsh as black can.
I really like all three of these shades and I think this is one of the best #ColorCurators editions they have had all year. I think maybe the least unique shade would be Pacific Haze, but if you don’t have a light grey creme, it’s a good one. Atlantic Mist and Taken By Storm are a little more unique, especially Taken By Storm. Great formula with all of them, and I think these ones really hit the mark!
You can find these for a limited time at Sephora and they are $12.50 each.
