The ORLY Mulholland Fall 2016 Collection is here!
I think we are officially into the fall/winter nail season folks. Summer is long gone as far as nail polish and makeup brands care. Technically we still have 5 weeks of summer, and we are just getting into here in the Bay Area. Yep, our warmest and most sultry months are August, September and October. So while all of you lucky birds will be busting out your sweaters, boots, jackets and scarves, we will be melting here. And I do love me some warm weather, but by the time it clicks over to fall officially on the calendar, I WANT it to be cooler!
The Mulholland Fall 2016 collection features six news shades in a variety of finishes. I swatched all of these with two-three coats and didn’t have any problems formula-wise with any of them.
Mansion Lane is a dark taupe/grey creme. Beautiful taupe color, not sure how unique it is compared to all my other taupe cremes though.
Hillside Hideout is a medium mauve with golden shimmer. I feel like this is a fairly unique shade, don’t think I have another one like it.
Caheunga Pass is a bright orange creme. Not quite neon but very bright indeed.
Party In The Hills has a clear base and is filled with black and gold micro-glitter. This is two coats and as you can see, it didn’t completely cover my nails. I think three coats would be better.
Million Dollar Views is a copper metallic with golden shimmer. Gorgeous shade!
Meet Me At Mulholland has a brown sheer jelly base and has copper and purple irregular shaped glitter flecks. This is another pretty unique shade and quite lovely. I used three thin coats here.
There are a few shades in this collection which I think are rather unique and they are Hillside Hideout, Million Dollar Views and Meet Me At Mulholland. The other three are nice shades, however I think they are easier to find dupes of.
This collection is coming out now and they are $8.50 each.
Which ones here are you interested in seeing in person?
