ORLY Pacific Coast Highway for summer 2016 is here so put on your sunglasses and stay awhile! ?
The Pacific Coast Highway stretches down L.A.’s coast and is quite the beautiful drive if you haven’t ever seen it before. I’m not sure what these colors have to do with the highway exactly, but there is a definite beachy, summery vibe here, and I like it!
As far as formula everything was pretty darn great. I used just two coats (over a ridge filling base coat – not a white base coat) for all shades with one exception.
Road Trippin is a yellow neon creme. This one did require three thin coats to get it more even. Now if you are going to ask how it compares to Glowstick I just so happen to have that bottle out right now to compare. Glowstick is a lighter, more “highlighter” shade of yellow whereas this is more of a “sunny” yellow. However it’s definitely very neon!
Summer Sunset is a bright, warm-toned orange with gold and orange shimmer. This particular color doesn’t work with my skin tone very well, but it’s really pretty.
Put The Top Down is a neon flamingo pink. Super intense and gorgeous!
Life’s A Beach is a neon road-sign orange creme. This is SO bright and amazing, I love it!
Scenic Route is a light lilac creme. This is a soft and pretty shade, not super bright though.
Paradise Cove is a bright shimmery purple. Usually for some reason purple is never really truly neon, and this one isn’t either, but it’s really bright and pretty anyway.
I’m loving this entire collection! They mostly had a really good formula and you don’t need white underneath for the neon ones to be super bright. Who has time for that? My personal favorites are Put The Top Down and Life’s A Beach.
You can find this collection on the ORLY site and wherever ORLY is sold and they are $8.50 each.
Which are your favorites?
