For the past couple of weeks I have been testing out Sally Hansen Complete Care 7-In-1 Nail Treatment and I’ve got the results for ya now!
You can use this product as a base coat, top coat, growth & strengthener or brightener. Their patented formula, which includes avocado oil, sea salt, pomegranate extract and calcium helps nails in a myriad of ways. It helps with ridges, breakage, dullness, peeling and weakness. It also now features a new brush which helps the product to apply very evenly. It goes on clear and dries to a super smooth, shiny hard finish.
I wore this alone on my nails for 10 straight days and was really pleased with the results. All I did was apply two coats and that was it. Every 3 days I removed it and reapplied it. The things I noticed immediately were it made my nails feel stronger and slightly thicker, probably because the formula is thick and hard. It made them super shiny and look brighter/cleaner as well. My nails tend to grow pretty quickly, so I don’t know for sure if I can attribute the growth to this exactly, but it sure didn’t hurt!
After wearing this for 10 days I noticed something fairly remarkable for me. Two of my nails, which have been plagued with really bad ridges that cause a split at the tip for the past 3-4 years, seemed to get better. The thumb on my left hand and the middle on my right hand have this issue, and normally I have to keep those nails shorter than the rest because of the splitting. However after wearing this stuff, it was almost like it helped “seal” those areas so the nails weren’t snagging and splitting. Very cool!
I’ve been using this now as a base coat and treatment and have no plans to stop anytime soon! It’s one of the best nail treatments I have used thus far, if not the best. I probably won’t use it as a top coat though because I prefer a quicker-drying formula for that.
