The ORLY Melrose Spring 2016 Collection features six new nail shades in a variety of finishes all inspired by the famous Melrose Avenue in L.A.
This week is super busy for me because of family stuff going on, so I am going to be short on words here!
Beautifully Bizarre is a pale pink with lots of blue/green pearly shimmer. This one is a stunner and definitely my favorite in the collection. This was two coats.
Trendy is a coral with pink shimmer. For me this one was a dud. Not because of the color itself, which is nice, but the formula was thick and the shimmer looks lumpy-ish, and it kind of settles down into the polish, making it not that visible. This was two coats.
Vintage is a pale seafoam green creme. Gorgeous shade. In person it looks like more of a subdued vintage-mint (as the name implies) than it looks here. This was two coats.
Hip and Outlandish is a bright teal green creme. I could not for the LIFE OF ME get this color to show on my camera anywhere near the shade it actually is, so this is edited to look more accurate. This was two coats.
Window Shopping is a bright magenta creme. Beautiful pink, super shiny and two coats.
Feel the Funk is a lilac shimmer with holographic glitter. This one is a little on more sheer side so I needed three coats. Pretty if you love princess-y looking shades!
My faves here were definitely Beautifully Bizarre and Vintage, though Hip and Outlandish is also very pretty in person. I don’t know if my bottle of Trendy was bad or not, but the formula was definitely not great.
You can find this collection this month at Sally Beauty Supply, Ulta, etc.
Which ones here are calling your name?
