MAC Modern Twist Kajal Liner is a new liner which comes in thirteen shades and I *think* is now part of their permanent line.
These liners twist-up, so no sharpening needed, and they have a smooth and easy-glide formula. They claim to be long-wearing and waterproof as well – more on that below!
Polar Ice is a pearly white.
Swamped is a deep khaki green with sparkles.
Nightcast is a muted deep purple.
Ocean Liner is a deep blue with light blue sparkles.
Black Walnut is a very dark brown/black,
Squid is a carbon black.
While these do feel pretty creamy and apply nicely, I feel like the ones without sparkles or a pearly effect have better pigmentation and apply more evenly. I wore Squid on my upper and lower waterlines and it lasted for hours and hours and hours without disappearing. I have fairly watery eyes, so usually liner on my lower waterline disappears within an hour, and this lasted twice or three times as long on my lower waterline and all day on my upper waterline. Also I noticed when it was time to take it off it took a few pads soaked in remover to completely get it off – it didn’t want to budge! So that’s kind of a good and bad thing.
You can find these on MAC now and they are $17.00 for 0.01 oz.
Are you going to try these liners out?
