Happy Monday! Today I’ve got the Shinespark Polish Winter Holiday 2015 Collection for you!
Shinespark Polish is an indie brand that started earlier this year and is ran by one woman. They have a big 5 free formula, and everything is done in-house. Currently they have a few collections featuring neons, shimmers, metallics, multichromes, holographics and glitters. This collection is filled with metallic shimmers and none were brush-stroke-y whatsoever, yay! All of these covered in nicely in just two coats.
Snowstorm, which actually is a new stand-alone polish, not part of the Winter Holiday Collection, is a pale lavender/white jelly with various sizes and colors of blue and holographic glitter. Considering I am not a huge jelly or glitter fan, I liked this one because of the colors. I used two coats but probably should have done three for better coverage. Some of the larger glitter pieces do have to be placed by dabbing on rather than brushing on.
Winter Morning is a blue metallic shimmer.
Shining Star is a warm-toned gold metallic shimmer.
Tree Ornament is a bright red metallic shimmer.
Christmas Tree is a deep evergreen metallic shimmer.
Cold Night is a deep, bright cobalt blue shimmer.
Very pretty collection! While there are some typical expected holiday colors here, a couple are different from the “norm.” I like Christmas Tree because it’s a different shade of green from what we normally see in a holiday collection. I also love Cold Night because it’s super saturated and a very intense blue. And if you’re looking for something very unique, Snowstorm isn’t like any other jelly or glitter that I’ve tried, so it might fit the bill!
You can find these on their site and they are $3.75 each for mini, $8.00 each for full sized or $16.50 for the full set of 5. Great pricing for full-sized bottles!
Which of these are your favorites?
