The LVX Fall 2015 Collection is the 14th collection from the brand and it features six shades inspired by the fall runway shows.
Yeah it’s still fall even though it feels like we are barreling headfirst into Christmas, like next week. It’s always that way after Halloween, right? It’s like we get Halloween (which is my favorite holiday) and then practically skip from Oct 31st to Dec 25th, surpassing Thanksgiving almost altogether! But until December 21st it’s still fall, so I shall continue posting all the fall collections I can! 🙂
Rhone is a light pink creme. It’s definitely more on the sheer side but I managed to get it opaque in three thin coats. It is a little uneven though.
Militaire is a light green-grey creme. Oh yes, this is my kind of shade! I like that it’s not the typical army green, it’s much lighter and more grey. Gorgeous color and great formula with two coats.
Nu is a light beige creme. This is also more of a sheer so even with three thin coats it’s not completely even.
Monarch is an intense metallic gold/copper. This is like liquid gold! This was two coats and it applied very nicely.
Sienna is a brick red creme. This is nice and shiny and covered perfectly with two coats.
Narcissist is a deep shimmery blue/green. This is my other fave in the collection. It’s very aquatic looking and it covered perfectly with two coats.
Overall I think there were some great shades and some just felt “meh” to me. I personally am not into sheer colors or reds all that much so those ones didn’t seem unique or interesting to me. However Militaire, Monarch and Narcissist were great!
You can find these on the LVX site and they are $16.00 each.
Which of these colors do you like most?
