Hello and happy Monday! For those in the US, I hope you had a wonderful long holiday weekend!
Today I’ve got some of the cutest little nail bottles I have ever seen called simply, Ice Cream Cone Nail Color. I found these at Rite Aid and they are made by Cosmetic Industries, Inc. in California. And that’s about all I know about them, except they were under $4.00 each.
There are quite a few colors and finishes, but these two colors stood out the most to me. As you can see, the cap is an ice cream cone shape and no, the cap doesn’t come off, so it can be a little awkward to use them. They are 0.5 oz each.
These aren’t named so I call this shade “Blue.” It’s a cobalt blue/purple cream. In the bottle it leans slightly towards the more purple side but on my nails it looked a little more blue. It’s not as intense or bright as many of all our favorite cobalt blues from other brands, it’s more subdued looking. This was two coats and it covered very evenly.
This one I call “Teal.” This is a bright light teal green/blue creme. In this photo it seems a wee bit more green than it looks in real life. It’s slightly more blue in person, but it is a good combo of a green/blue. It was a little on the streaky side, so I needed three thin coats to cover.
You can find these at Rite Aid only.
What do you think, cute?
