Remember back in May when I wrote a post talking about my first-ever experience with some of the Paula’s Choice products? Well now I have a final wrap-up and “empties” post for ya!
I was sent 9 products to try out initially and while I really genuinely like all of them, for me it came down to the 5 above that I will be re-purchasing on my own. They include the Resist Optimal Results Hydrating Cleanser, Resist Daily Smoothing Treatment, Weekly Resurfacing Treatment, Resist Intensive Wrinkle-Repair Retinol Serum and Resist Barrier Repair Moisturizer.
These 5 products are the ones I felt like worked the best for me and were actually worth the time it took to apply them (which really is like 30 seconds, but you know me – lazy.)
The Hydrating Cleanser is a luxurious and creamy wash which easily removes all my makeup and feels really nice while I’m using it. Both the Daily and Weekly Smoothing AHA Treatments leave my skin feeling much smoother and somehow looking slightly better (especially the weekly 10% AHA one.) The Intensive Wrinkle Retinol Serum makes me skin feel really nice and hydrated when I use it but honestly, I don’t know if I have really noticed an specific improvements while using it. But I really like the way it feels, so I will re-purchase it. The Barrier Repair Moisturizer, which is my favorite of all the products, rocks! It’s a very non-harsh Retinol that feels very nice and hydrating on my face. I like that you can use it all over, including around the eyes, and it never dries my skin out or makes it feel tight. Plus the fact that it’s a 1.7oz bottle, rather than just 1oz, makes me feel better about buying it and getting more for my money.
As a Power Primper, I am offering 20% off + free shipping with promo code: PRIMPFALL20 to my readers. Expires: December 31st, midnight EST, One-time use only; cannot be combined with other offers or applied to previous purchase.
I don’t often go through entire facial products because I am rather restless and get bored of them quickly, but I really like these because the price is very good for the amount, and I am happy to buy more! What’s your current favorite skincare product?
