Orly In The Mix for fall 2015 features six news shades which mostly look like spring or summer colors, but that doesn’t bother me!
This is a street inspired collection that features intense, bright colors. You will find five creme finishes and one super cool glitter.
Freestyle is a bright coral/pink creme. Even though this looks like a spring or summer shade, I really like it. It’s bright, but not neon, and smooth with two coats.
Electropop is a super bright fuchsia creme. Again, this isn’t neon but close to it. This was two coats.
Indie is a medium denim blue creme. They describe this as a “quaker blue” but I have no idea what that means! It’s sightly purple-ish and really nice. This was two coats.
Turn It Up features multi-colored and multi-sized matte glitter pieces in a clear base. It’s rare that I say this about a glitter, but I LOVE this one! I have started to realize that I actually do like glitters, if they are matte. I don’t like metallic or holo glitter that much, but this? Yes please. This was two coats kind of dabbed on over Indie.
Off Beat is a deep violet with a crelly (creme/jelly) formula. I don’t love this shade personally but the formula was nice and this was two coats.
Midnight Show is a a midnight blue crelly. It took three thin coats to get it covered completely but it’s a nice, deep shade.
For me the stand-out shades here are Freestyle, Indie and Turn It Up. You can find these now at Sally Beauty Supply and they are around $5.00-6.00 each.
See any here you are dying for?
