Too Faced Born This Way Foundation is the newest cool thing from one of my favorite cruelty-free brands, and I’ve got all the details and my thoughts about it for you!
Born This Way is an “undetectable medium-to-full coverage” foundation which comes in twelve shades. It’s oil-free and infused with coconut water (to replenish skin’s moisture levels), alpine rose (to brighten the skin’s appearance and promote elasticity), and hyaluronic acid (for a smoother more youthful appearance). It’s made without sulfates, parabens, phthalates and is gluten-free.
I realize I should have taken another photo or two of one of the bottles by itself, but I didn’t. Oops. Anyway it’s a nice frosted glass bottle with a pump-style applicator.

As mentioned above, you can apply one layer for medium coverage but if you add another layer it builds up to more of a full coverage look. Of course you can apply it with your fingers, a sponge or brush.
I very rarely wear foundation anymore just because BB Creams work so well for me and I don’t really need a ton of coverage. However I have to say, I am really liking this stuff! The shade that works best for me right now is Vanilla but in the winter I *may* be able to use the slightly lighter one, Ivory. I’m a fan of the texture because it’s not matte and it’s not overly dewey either. It blends in fairly easily with my fingers or a wet sponge, and helps blur out pores. The coverage I get from one layer works really well for me but it doesn’t look “mask-y” at all, even when I build it up. It doesn’t get oily or shiny on me during the day, but I don’t have oily skin either. It seems to hold up for a good 10 hours with no fading or issues. I also love that it doesn’t settle into fine lines around my eyes and on my forehead. Good stuff, I’m sold!
