Happy Monday morning peeps! Hope you had a fabulous weekend!
Today I’ve got some of the new L’Occitane Immortelle Precious goodies for spring 2015. The new items include Precious Mist ($16), Oil Make-up Remover Cleanser ($28), Intense Cleansing Foam ($30) and three new Precious BB Creams ($45). The ones I was most interested in were the Oil Make-up Remover Cleanser (because I love these types of cleansers!) and the BB Creams.
Immortelle Oil Make-Up Remover contains immortelle essential oil which has anti-aging properties. It has a silky and soft texture and glides right over skin to remove even the most stubborn makeup. It has a wonderful light scent and is very effective. It leaves my skin feeling super soft, moisturized and not greasy at all. It doesn’t sting my eyes at all either. This is why I am a complete convert to these oil removers – they really rock!
It comes in a nice large 6.7 oz pump-style bottle which never leaks. I felt I had to say that because the other oil makeup remover I love leaks like a sieve! And that one would be Garnier Nourishing Cleansing Oil. Wish they would fix that issue.
Precious BB Cream, which comes in Fair, Light and Medium, is a multi-purpose product used to:
– even out skin tone: helps to conceal uneven skin tone and to blemish and brighten dull skin.
– smooth the skin: signs of stress and fatigue appear softened.
– protect the skin: helps to protect skin against damaging effects of photo-aging, thanks to its UV filters and an SPF of 30.
– enriched with organic immortelle essential oil, rich in active molecules offering unique anti-aging results.
I wasn’t so sure Light would be the right shade for me but actually it’s right-on. I am pretty pleased with this BB Cream which I wasn’t too sure about at first since it comes from a skincare company rather than a “makeup” company. It blends into the skin easily and does a great job of hiding pores and other spots on my face. It has a nice light feeling but covers better than a tinted moisturizer. It never felt greasy on me and lasts all day. The one thing I don’t love (but also don’t hate) is it has a herbal-y scent to it. You really only notice that at first though then it dissipates. I also like that the tube is slightly larger than the typical 1 oz BB Cream tube (this is 1.3 oz) however it is definitely pricier!
You can find both of these on their website now.
Are you interested in trying out either of these new products?
