There’s a new mascara in town called Benefit Roller Lash and today I have all the info you need about her.
Roller Lash is a curling and lifting mascara with a patent pending “Hook n Roll” brush, which grabs, separates, lifts and curls lashes. It holds lashes in their curl for 12 hours and contains pro-vitamin B5 and serine, which both help condition your lashes.
Isn’t the tube adorable? The handle is made to look like those old-school pink rollers, which I used to use when I was a kid, and it has a grippy texture, which I really like. The brush itself has a slight curve and each “hook” is placed perfectly to ensure it grabs lashes from root to tip. The brush they finally wound up with was their 4th attempt at perfection!
Just to see how much this actually curls and lifts for real, I curled my right eyelashes using my usual curler and added the mascara. Then on my left eye I used just the mascara with no curler. They look pretty much identical! In fact I almost see more lift in the lashes with my left eye than right, though I could be imagining that. I really love the brush because the slight curve works perfectly with my lashes, and I do feel like it really gets every little lash. It curled, lifted, lengthened and thickened without any clumps. When I added a second coat I still had zeros clumps, and even when it’s dry, it doesn’t get stiff or hard feeling ever. I didn’t get any flaking off throughout the day, and the curl seemed to stay there as well.
Yay for a new, great mascara! I really like this one and would definitely purchase it myself.
Are you going to try this mascara out?
Note: Undetermined if cruelty free
