There’s a new nail polish in town and her name is Pop-arazzi. Isn’t she cute?
I found this display at my local CVS store and I am pretty sure this line replaced the Spoiled line. Or so I have heard from the nail polish rumor-mill. There are quite a few of these pretty polishes ranging from sheers to metallics and every color you can think of. And the cap! I am pretty sure this is my favorite nail polish cap ever, since I am such a sucker for polka dots.
I believe these retail for $2.99 each normally, but I got them on a buy 2 for $5.00 deal. The formula wasn’t the best ever but certainly nowhere near the worst. I think the colors I got are worth the minor formula issues because I really like them. The brush (see photo below) is very workable and I had no problems with it at all.

The Hue Is Blue
The Hue Is Blue is a pale, pastel-like sky blue creme. Or so I thought. I didn’t notice until I saw the photos but it’s actually got very subtle hidden shimmer in it. But basically it’s a creme because you can barely see the shimmer. Love this shade so much! The formula was rather thick though and a bit uneven. I am a perpetual 3-coater type of woman, but the third coat made it suuuper thick so next time I have to go even thinner with my application (I tend to be heavy-handed.)

Shell Me More
Shell Me More is a light mint green creme. This shade was irresistible to me – so pretty. The formula was the same as The Hue Is Blue, so I needed three coats.

Lime-ousine Ride
Lime-ousine Ride is an intense lime green creme. Love this color! It’s super weird, vivid and saturated. Just two coats got the job done, and it didn’t seem as thick as the first two.

In Your Dreams
In Your Dreams is a bright purple creme. Very nice shade and the formula was better with this one, similar to Lime-ousine Ride. This was two coats.

Surf n’ Turf
Surf n’ Turf is a light teal green with shimmer. I was more drawn to the creme shades for some reason but decided to pick up a couple shimmers and I’m glad I did. This is a great color and it had a really good formula. This was two coats.

Orchid Crush
Orchid Crush is a bright orchid purple shimmer. Wow! I think this might be my favorite one and I nearly didn’t get it. The color is super flattering, a very pinky-purple. The shimmer is very obvious and the formula was great. This was two coats.
I like these despite the fact that the formula wasn’t perfect with some of them. For the price they are definitely worth checking out, and the bottles are so adorable!
You can find these at CVS and they are around $2.99 each.
Which are your favorites here? Have you seen these in person yet?

I LOVE Shell Me More! I would totally get this just for the cute cap design, though ๐
These are such fun, spring-y colors and I love the polka dot packaging!
i am pretty sure this replaced the other brand because the local cvs I am at doesn’t have the other kind. I got 5 colors when they are 99c and they are very cute! I haven’t tried yet but I do like the colors and bottle design.
I see a field trip at lunch! Orchid Crush is coming homw with me. I think I like the shimmers better than the cremes. But, I will be picking up a bottle or two. Thanks for sharing!
i love that green! I’ll have to pick up a few bottles when I get to CVS
Love Shell Me More! I’ll have to check for these next time I’m in CVS!
OH, bummer .. I really liked the Spoiled line .. will have to check CVS next time I’m in the store ๐
monica.
LOVING the Surf and Turf!!! ๐

Shell me more, Surf and Turf and Orchid Crush are nice!
I bought 3 colors from this brand and they smell TERRIBLE! almost like lighter fluid. Also when I removed the polish from my nails a few days later, my nails were a dark pink (I used a base coat and 1 other color before applying the poparazzi color). Does anyone else have these problems?
I read a review on Pretty Girl Science that said they smell awful.
Kelly, did you notice any unusual smell? I love the bottles and would love to pick up some of these, but I won’t use them if they’re extra-stinky.
They do have a strong-ish nail polish smell but that doesn’t really bother me personally. And it does go away once they are dry.
I just picked some up and put on the Lime-ousine Ride. They smell like the usual nail polish for the most part, but then when they started drying the smell changed. They have this scented-marker kind of smell that’s lingering. I actually ended up here looking it up online whether they were intentionally scented or not. I have a couple other colors, but I haven’t checked them out yet.
I bought the Glam Factor, In Your Dreams, I Want to Be Royale & Kiss ya Later. All of them came off except the Kiss Ya Later. It’s like it tattooed my nails. I wonder if I can return them?
I used a bright pink color and when i removed it, it stained my fingers and nails! I’m so mad. I’m not even going to try the other 5 colors I bought. I returning them all.
YES! I wanted to do a french on my toes after using the pink. Can’t do that for a while now. I took the polish off and my toes are still pink ;/
Yes I just returned two. I went to remove the polish and my nails are pink, skin pink. AWFUL!!
Mine are still pink. I’m so upset! Can’t take it off…
Yes I totally colors are very pretty but they smell really terrible.
It stained my nails as well!!
Had the same problem…nails were stained even though I’d used base coat
Sarah,
I am having the same problem!!! I thought this was the greatest polish ever, but it is horrible. It stained my toes and finger nails, and it is NOT coming off!!! NEVER again will I purchase this polish!!!! EVER!!! :((((( Any suggestions other than acetone remover, regular nail polish remover, Lestoilโฆ????
You know Sarah TOTALLY agree the smell is awful on top of that itโs one of the most sheer nail polish I ever owned and if I wanted to paint my nails white I couldโve gone to staples and got white out and it would have work a lot better.
I am happy to see bright colors rather than faint pastels. ๐
Aargh! I see an immediate future of haunting local CVS stores until the SAs hate my very guts, just to get my hands on The Hue Is Blue and Orchid Crush!

I think you are right as I haven’t seen any Spoiled polishes at either of my CVS stores in months. I thought it was because of the end of year clearance and new Spoiled ones were coming but I haven’t seen these new ones.
orchid crush is the only one that has caught my eye !
love that shimmer ! ^โ^
Ugh, those shimmers are both so pretty! I’m definitely going to have to check this line out when my no-buy is over.

Hi Kelly, I love these polishes. Only thing is I saw that there were about 5 clear polishes that each have their own treatment function but I can’t really tell the difference and I can’t find anything online regarding this. Thanks!
I saw those. I believe they say on the bottle what they are for though?
their functions are written on the long paper. There are matte, clear, fill, clear, fast dry and some nail strengthener I only remember these ones.
They’re .99 this week at CvS!! ๐ stock up!

Those are cute colors. I bought the Quick Dry Top Coat, which makes me think someone is playing a joke on me. It doesn’t dry. It also picks up the nail color a lot, even when I let the color dry for a long time. The “treatment” clear bottles have their names on the bottom sticker, but I don’t think I’ll be experimenting with any more. Don’t they test their products?
I just picked up 5 colors and the cuticle oil for 99 cents each at CVS. I haven’t tried them yet but the colors are gorgeous! Makes me wanna get ’em all ๐
I just caught the sale ladt week ,99ยข. I got the 3 in 1 Nail Treatment. Not sure how to use it or what its supoose to do. No info on the bottle explaining the product. I took a chance and just brushed it on any way. I agree they DO smell awlful but for the price its worth a try. I use an aerosol nail dry- an unrated product. Liquid nail dry sucks!
Love the colors but the Polish itself is too clumpy and thick. I’ve never had that problem with a polish before. I’m very disapponted. I spent 2.99 and my nails look aweful ๐
I love this nail polish! Have you tried the color “Toes in the sand”? It is a beautiful nude color ๐
I just bought one coral pink color and the top coat. The smell is awful. I let my nails dry for a half hour and they were still tacky like glue so I tried to remove the polish. My nails are now stained hot pink. It’s almost like this Polish is real paint. The smell and the difficulty to remove. I had to soak my nails in pure acetone and then buff with a file and there is still hot pink traces. Not worth it. The cheap price should say it all.
Ugh – This happened to me with Fuchsia in Show Biz. I wanted a neon pink, which this most definitely was, but it stained my nails AND skin. I tried pure acetone and it STILL did not come off. It’s stressing me out because I can’t have polish on for nursing clinicals. This looks absolutely awful.
I just used a purple polish called Picked you up at seven. The smell reminds me of a grape candy. I actually was searching if they were scented polishes when I came across this post. I like it. It was a pretty thick but it went on pretty evenly. Seems to dry fairly quickly.
I know this is an old post but I just HAVE to comment. I picked up two bottles of this at CVS last week…Just Beachin’, a pretty blue, and You’re A Gem, a gorgeous shimmery purple. Omg I hate them so much though. Colors are gorgeous but the formula on both is simply horrendous. Thick, dragging, dries too quickly. The purple one also bubbled like mad AND stained my nails hot pink after having it on a grand total of 30 minutes! That’s with basecoat! I’ve never had a polish stain this badly in my life…both went straight to the trash.
Love them all and purchased the whole collection, every color, even the cuticle oil, matte top coat, reg. top coat, quick dry drops and adhesive base coat. Got them at a great price 2 for $3.00 @ CVS.
I love the colors! It dry’s weird, the first coat dry’s fast but the second seems to never dry. All in all though Kelly is right the price is worth it to at least try it!
Tried the “love all” (yellow) at my local nail shop. I LOVE it. I will definitely be going to CVS to try more!
I found this polish today. It will be .99cents until Saturday 4/4/2015 I also got a French manicure box. 3 btls, pink, white and a silver sparkle, also for. 99 cents. happy shopping!!
I just picked a few of these up. I had never seen them before. Such cute bottles for sure! Thanks for swatching these.
I would not reccomend buying this polish. The colors are great but the formula stinks. Have to use 3 coats and it chips and peels overnight. Not worth the effort.
Totally agree with you! i just swatched a few of these last night and you can smell all the toxins it has in it. They are cute bottles, but the formula does suck big time.
These smell absolutely awful and are almost chunky. I just painted my nails but the smell is driving me crazy and I may need to take it off. I suffer from migraines and these smell miserable
Bought pop-ae aziz “kiss ya later” at cvs last week. Went to remove and my nails are badly stained. Tried acetone and still not coming off. Called cvs and they said they are aware of the problem and sending me a “repair kit”. Huh? Said they have fixed the proble, but the old bottles are probably still on the shelves. Buyer beware. Guess I have to wait for the mysterious repair kit to get the stains off my nails. Great…
Linda – when I get the cuticle stains, I use Blue Cross cuticle remover, which I buy from Sally Beauty. I don’t use it as an actual cuticle remover, but it is great for smurf nails — I brush it on with a cheap brush, over the sink or in a bowl. Works pretty fast.
I love the colors but nothing takes it off..
My nails are stained a with dark and light pink colors..
I even tried paint thinner, that didnt help either…
If anyone has any idea how to remove it please let me know..
Getting the polish off is a serious issue. Despite a basecoat, my nails retained a dark pink stain! I am throwing the bottle in the thrash and warning the friend I gave a second bottle to – to do the same. Am calling the store next to suggest they remove the polish from their shelves.
I had to file the the surface of my nails to get the polish off! Am not happy!
Has anyone been able to get the polish off?? Mine are also stained pink, and I only used 1 coat! Grrr…
Cute colors but horrible polish! It severely stained my nails bright pink (yes, in used base coat) even after I tried removing it with acetone!
I want to know about the pop-arazzi 3-in-1 treatment one step Prep. I can’t find out anything. Thank you!
I also had the staining problem with Kiss Ya Later. Painted my nails with it the day before Mother’s Day and they are still stained red after 6 weeks. I just keep painting my nails over the staining but I will never use these polishes on my nails again. I also bought Short But Sweet which is a dusty pink. Both colors chipped after only 2 days. I’m used to polish lasting at least a week before noticing some chipping on the last day, but these didn’t just chip a little bit. They were an absolute mess, completely chipped after a couple days. Between that and the bazaar staining, these are the worst polishes I’ve ever owned. Don’t be fooled by the beautiful colors. Beware.
I got the 2 for $5 deal as well! Purchased the Movie Night and the Hue is Blue colors and love them so far. Very good deal.
I really liked the colors and price at first, however, the Kiss Ya Later polish turned my nails pink and no matter what I’ve used my nails are still pink! I will be returning the product back to CVS and I will be requesting a refund!!!!
These polish chips easily after a day of wear. I used base coat and top coat and didn’t think my nails would look so horrible after a day.
I have used their metallic colors, those peel like glue. I don’t understand where I went wrong.i bought 5 of these and after two weeks of experimenting, I think it’s wise to return and call it a day. I am so much in love with the colors and the cute designs in the bottle, but what’s the point if I can’t put these to the use they are created for.
Orchid Crush stained my nails BAD…bright pink. I used base and top coat with it Soooo disappointing.
I bought the clear glitter one today. I couldn’t find any info regarding cruelty-free status, but if I find out it’s not, it’s going back.
I found these at my local CVS a couple of weeks ago. Two for $5.00 sounded like a deal to me. I bought a red and a pearly white. I’ve used both of them (double coats) and I really like them. They wear well, no chipping. They smell like any other nail polish I’ve used. I plan on going back and getting more. And yes, the polka dot lid is really cute. (As for removing the red, I haven’t yet, so I don’t know how hard it will be, but in my experience, removing red polish is always a bit of a booger.
I bought a bottle of frosted fairytale for the color is very pretty and I have been looking for this shade for a long time . Sally Hanson had a similar color years ago and discontinued it for some reason. I do like the color a lot but it dosn’t dry and stays sticky with one thin coat maybe a fast dry top coat is needed. Yep it smells funny too. not awful just odd.
I live in central Connecticut and have tried 8 CVS stores and NONE have my nailpolish. HELP me find some replacements. Color is SHORT BUT SWEET
