Jordana Complete Cover 2-in-1 Concealer & Foundation is brand new this year and in stores now.
This is a hybrid of both foundation and concealer, as the name implies. It comes in twelve shades, most seemingly on the more warm-toned side to my eye. It gives you pretty heavy coverage, at least from what I am normally used to, which is a BB Cream. You can also use a little extra to spot conceal dark circles, blemishes, etc. It has a long wearing formula, is water-resistant and oil-free.
It comes in a tube and the opening is a small hole. Sorry, I am completely brain-dead right now, I cannot think of WORDS TO DESCRIBE THINGS! But you get the gist.
As you can see most of these have a lot of yellow/golden undertones to them and they are rather warm-toned. For me the best shade match was Creamy Natural, which is really odd for me because 99% of the time I am the second shade in any line. But Classic Beige was just a little too yellow for me.
Anyway, I wore this as both a foundation and used some extra for dark circles under my eyes. As far as coverage, it did a nice job and definitely is a thicker coverage than I am used to. It’s creamy and blends into the skin very easily. It doesn’t feel heavy or mask-like on the skin. At least at first. After wearing it for a few hours it started bothering me though. I did start feeling like there was just way too much “stuff” on my face and it felt a bit greasy and heavy. The concealer part also creased within a couple hours. By the time about 8 hours had rolled around, it was just feeling gross on my skin so I had to wash my face. Now keep in mind I do not like or wear full coverage foundations, so it could have just been me reacting to a heavier foundation, not that this isn’t actually a decent foundation. I just like my skin to look and feel a little lighter.
For the price it could definitely be worth checking out because it’s only $3.99, so there isn’t much to lose if you don’t wind up liking it.
Yea or nay to this one folks?
