Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer is coming out soon for spring 2015 and I’ve got the details for ya.
This brand new concealer comes in eight shades including Fair (neutral), Light (warm), Light (neutral), Medium Light (neutral), Medium (neutral), Medium dark (warm), Medium Dark (neutral), and Dark (neutral). It’s infused with something called Matrixyl 3000 which contains anti-wrinkle peptides, as well as Japanese green tea for revitalizing and helping reduce the appearance of fine lines, Litchiderm, which protects against dehydration and sodium hyaluronate, which helps skin attract and retain moisture.
The shades and tubes are meant to go perfectly with all the other Naked Skin items and the applicator is a flat, two-sided flocked type. The formula is demi-matte, buildable, and they claim it won’t settle into fine lines ever. We shall see.
Fair Neutral is the lightest shade.
Light Warm is the second lightest.
Light Neutral is the third lightest.
For me Light Warm worked the best on me out of these shades. I really like the coverage it gives me. It’s not super thick and fake looking, but it hides enough of my dark circles that I feel like me, only more rested looking. But the best part? NO SETTLING INTO FINE LINES!
If you’ve been reading my blog for awhile you know that is always my #1 issue with any concealer. Yes I am 42. And yes I have fine lines. And yes, you will too when you are 42. It seems like 95% of concealers, no matter the type, settle into lines on me. But this really, truly didn’t. Even when I didn’t bother topping it with powder, it stayed on and stayed true. Even after 8-10 hours. Yay!
I am excited about this and will definitely be using it on my eye-luggage going forward!
Are you going to try this concealer out?
