Buxom Dolly’s High Roller Collection for Holiday 2014 is a 9-piece full-face collection that comes in a black and gold box.
Inside this limited edition set you’ll find four eyeshadows, a full-size Hold The Line Waterproof Eyeliner, a bronzer, blush and luminizer and a Double-Ended Full-On Lip Polish & Lip Cream. Also there is a large mirror and an insert featuring a daytime and nighttime look.
Cha-Ching is a patina gold metallic.
Strip Poker is a pale lilac matte.
Royal Flush is a pale powdery pink matte.
Chocolate Diamonds is a bronzer/chocolate with slight sheen.
All four of these were very nicely pigmented and soft. They feel like really nice shadows, not cheapened down for the palette. I love Cha-Ching and Chocolate Diamonds especially.
Dolly is a medium mauve.
Bankroll is a light shimmery champagne.
Tahiti is golden tan with gold shimmer.
I’m in love with all three of these but I have to say, Dolly Blush is SO pigmented! It’s really amazing. Bankroll is a gorgeous highlight shade and Tahiti just *might* be light enough for me to try using.
Call Me is a black matte.
Dolly has a mauve cream on one side and a shimmery mauve on the other side.
Call Me is soft, pigmented and applies nice and even. I like the shimmery side of the Dolly Lip Polish but the cream side is pretty pale and not very noticeable on me.
Everything inside this set feels like really good quality, and I got great pigmentation from all the face items. I like the super black liner as well – much better than the bareMinerals Lasting Line liners!
I do wish the packaging was more streamlined. It’s big and bulky with a lot of excess empty cardboard space and I prefer sleeker, smaller sets.
This is available at Sephora now.
