The MAC Objects Of Affection for holiday 2014 collection comes out soon and I’ve got a few pieces for you today.
As you probably know by now, the pieces in all the MAC holiday 2014 collection are black or white, glittery and have a cameo theme. Loving this whole thing! Also no worries about any of the glitter on any of the packaging being messy. None of it comes off of anything, so it’s all good. 😉
Objects Of Affection includes four Pigments and Glitter sets and three Lipglass sets. So it’s the smallest of the holiday collections this year.
Fashion Scoop is a pale pink (cremesheen glass)
Pagoda is a frosted light pink (cremesheen glass)
Loud & Lovely is a blue-based fuchsia pink (cremesheen glass)
Rags to Riches is a plum pink with teal and red pearl (dazzleglass)
Fashion Scoop and Pagoda are rather pale and/or lip line-y on me, so I am not a huge fan of them. Loud and Lovely is a great bright pink but it’s a bit uneven. I wanted to love Rags to Riches, and in fact I do love the color and sparkle, but it was the stickiest lipgloss I have ever applied in my life! It was like Crazy Glue, for real.
Lithe is a light peachy nude (pigment)
English Gilt is a champagne (pigment)
Pretty It Up is a olive with pearl (pigment)
Gold is a chunky gold (glitter)
Deep Brown is a dark chocolate brown (pigment)
Lithe is so pale it barely shows up on me, but it is there. English Gilt was a bit better and I absolutely love Pretty It Up. Gold is crazy glittery and messy, so be prepared for that! Deep Brown is a gorgeous chocolate shade and it felt so soft and smooth.
Objects Of Affection will be available in coming weeks on the MAC site.
Is there anything here that is tempting you?
