The LVX 2014 Fall Collection features six new shades of creme nail lacquer.
This marks the 10th seasonal collection to be released from the vegan nail brand. I have found so far that LVX has a really great formula with most of their polishes. They definitely look and feel high-end, which they should considering their price. I also like that the square caps come off to reveal a round cap underneath, which makes applying much easier. I didn’t have a single negative issue with any of the formulas with these six shades and most covered with two coats.
Macaroon is a slightly peachy/nude. This is on the slightly more sheer side, so I did have to use three thin coats. I am really loving this shade because I think it’s pretty unique. It’s not really a peach but it’s not really nude either. I really like the way it looks with my skin tone.
Oyster is a light grey with blue undertones. This had a really good formula and covered with just two coats. I’m always in the market for these types of grey cremes.
Peony is a light, blue-based pink. Not what you might typically think of as a fall color, but it’s pretty nonetheless. This was a little uneven on me so I used three thin coats.
Cerise is a bright fuchsia/red. This had a very thin, yet even formula, and it looks super glossy. This was two coats.
Anthracite is a dark cool-toned grey. Ahhh loving this shade! Like Oyster, it’s a very blue-toned grey, but deep and mysterious. Perfect formula, this was two coats.
Espresso is a dark, slightly warm-toned brown. Another beautiful brown shade to love folks! This had a great formula, it’s super creamy and even, and covers with two coats.
I think my personal favorites here are Macaroon, Anthracite and Espresso, though the others are nice as well. I’m not sure anything here was completely unique other than Macaroon, but the shades are all nice, they are vegan, and they have a really good formula.
These are available now on the LVX website.
