The Jordana Playful Pastels collection looks like it belongs in April, but in fact, it’s new for fall!
This is a limited edition collection featuring six pastel cremes. I actually think it’s kind of a nice refresher from all the dark, shimmery shades I’ve been seeing a lot of lately.
As far as formula, it kind of varied depending on the shade. Some of them were more like opaque cremes while a couple were on the more sheer, uneven side. Most of these were three coats over a ridge-filling base coat.
And I had to show the promo photo because macarons. 😉
I call this Whimsical White with dog hair (haha). This is a soft white shade that did take me three thin coats, but it’s fairly even after that.
Sunsational is a bright yellow. This took three thin coats to cover, which isn’t that unusual for a yellow on me.
Pink Petunia is a light pink. This was slightly uneven on me, even with a ridge-filling base coat and three thin coats.
Baby Blue is a light blue. This was one of the ones that was more on the watery, sheer side. Even with three thin coats over a ridge-filing base coat it looks rather uneven on me.
Lively Lilac is a soft lilac. This one covered quite nicely with just two coats, which was nice.
Merry Mint is a soft green. This, like Baby Blue, had a very watery, sheer formula, but I managed to get it even looking with three coats. Love this color.
You can find this collection now on the Jordana site and in stores.
