There’s a new concealer on the block and her name is MAC Matchmaster Concealer.
This new concealer features the same “shade intelligence technology” as the Matchmaster Foundation SPF 15 has. It uses pigment technology which helps create a personalized, subtle satin finish. The concealer also contains vitamin E, which helps condition the under-eye and reduce the appearance of dark circles, spots and fine lines.
It comes in a portable twist-up stick, and in twelve shades.
1.0 is the lightest shade.
5.0 sits right in the middle of the shades.
9.0 is the darkest shade.
None of these match me, I am guessing I am either 1.5 or 2.0. I did wear 1.0 for a bit and liked the results. When I wore it over MAC Fast Response Eye Cream (which I wear nearly daily) it helped conceal my horrific under-eye circles and was nice and creamy. But it wasn’t so creamy that it settled into fine lines. It actually didn’t do much settling into lines at all, which is my biggest problem with most concealers. So now I am wanting to check out a shade that matches me better because a good concealer is really hard to find! It lasted the whole day when I wore it, so that’s another plus. The negative for me would be the shape. It’s kind of large to apply from the tube onto my eye, so I just wiped my finger across it, then patted it on under my eye. You could also use their 195 concealer brush, or any other concealer brush if you wanted.
You can find this now on the MAC site.
