Attention cat lovers! The Lise Watier Feline Collection for fall 2014 will have you purring with delight!
This small collection features five pieces all featuring leopard spots or tiger stripes on the packaging. Included in the collection is the Quatuor Feline Eyeshadow Quartet (limited edition), Feline Velvet Lip Lacquer in Nude and Rouge (limited edition) and Feline Eyeliner HD in Black and Brown.
The first shade is a shimmery champagne.
The second is a shimmery/metallic medium chocolate brown.
The third is a deep shimmery/metallic copper.
The fourth shade is a light shimmery/metallic pink.
They describe these shadows as having a semi-matte, iridescent finish. I found them to look more like shimmery/metallics, so that’s how I describe them. They are formulated with their cream/powder finish, which feels incredibly soft and smooth. They are VERY pigmented and luxurious feeling. Loving all of these shades, I think this is a great little natural-looking palette.
Nude is a pinky/peachy/nude cream.
Brown is a medium, warm-toned brown.
The Feline Velvet Lip Lacquers have a matte finish, but feel really velvety and soft. They aren’t a drying kind of matte at all. They are really creamy and very pigmented. They have a long-wear formula and no scent/taste to speak of. This is a nice, earthy shade.
The Feline Eyeliner HD is one of their bet-selling products with one selling every 30 minutes in Canada. The applicator is a pointed soft felt type, which glides on smoothly. Just so you know the only reason it’s bleeding in this photo is because I use MAC wipes in-between swatching, which leaves a residue that doesn’t work with some liquid liners. This isn’t the kind of brown I prefer, I like much darker, cooler-toned ones, but that’s just my preference.
For me the eyeshadow palette is the clear winner in the collection. Not only is it pretty to look at, it has four gorgeous colors with a really great formula. They are highly wearable shades and would work for a variety of skin tones.
See anything here that makes you roar?
